I thought to sublimate un-wanted egoistic thoughts, we need to employ noble and selfless thoughts. And it is essentially using "higher"-mind (if we can call higher) to get out of the clutches of "lower"-mind. We can only use waking state to prepare for sleep-what else can be done? With regards -Srinivas< It is my understanding that karma good or bad or balanced is still binding. It is also my understanding that the mind is to be used to realise that it has to be risen above. Rising above is the answer, that is how I interpret it.
