Errors ! Corrections !!

Dear List Members,

There are a few mistakes in my postings so far. Please correct them :

1. the following line in posting no. 3 has a wrong spelling :

This is not an invention by my imagination. See [RV I - 164 - 45]

tri.nii

the last word should be trii.ni

2. I have written a sentence in posting no. 5 upside-down : (approx.

line no. 117)

"Whenever there is fire there is smoke" which is logically wrong, of

course. I wanted to write :

"Whenever there is smoke there is fire."

3. Apart from these there may be spelling mistakes which escaped my

attention. My ra"smaya.h

(thinking, fingers, computer keyboard keys) are not what they used

to be :-(

Thanks.

namaste.

My apologies for this late response. I find the series presented

very well and I would like them to be continued in the same style.

I find the material presented to be quite a lot at one stretch.

I would prefer the articles to be not more than two screen-fulls

and I would prefer a gap of at least a week before the next article

appears so that people have time to read, think and digest the

article. I still havn't read fully all the articles in this thread,

but hope to be getting to that stage soon. The background material

is adequate. I would like to see specific reference to which vedic

text is discussed.

I thank shri Dave for taking time to present these articles and

I hope he would continue to post on this and other aspects of the

vedas.

Though I do understand your difficulty, I have to complete a thought sequence,

i.e. asub-topic otherwise it is very difficult to convey abstract ideas. The

material is NOT to be read in one sitting, you may have to re-read it several

times and think about it. Also, there a structure in the postings, by which I

have tried to create an

ambiance approximating a talk in person. I hope you will bear with me and give

sufficient time to the material presented. I am sure you will not regrete it.

Yes, you will find that frequency of postings are almost as you have suggested.
