Caterpillar is provided with shelter and food by the butter fly. Caterpillar spins the cocoon and become mature. It has to break open the self-inflicted bondage to transform into the Butterfly! Brahman provides the Jiva with the with shelter and food. Jiva lives in the world of ignorance and develops the bondage. Jiva has to get rid of the bondage and ignorance to realize the Brahman!
