Guest guest
Om, Sorry for the late response. I have been enjoying the posts very much but it will be good to go a bit slow, as has already been suggested. Also, I enjoyed Swami Dayanandji's commentaries as well but they do not seem to appear any more! It will be good to concentrate on fewer slokas but provide more commentaries/explanations on these selected slokas. My answers to your questions are as follows. > > Now that we have finished four chapters of Bhawad Gita, I wanted to ask you > > a few questions. > > > > a. Did you ever wanted to raise a question and kept quite? if so, what is > > making you keep silent? Yes, I kept quiet a few times due to time pressures. But generally most questions were answered anyways by follow-up posts. > > b. What, do you think, is told up to now in Gita, can you just write in a > > few lines? My off-the-cuff recollection is that the discussion so far has centered about (a) immortality of the Self, (b) Selfless action as a service to the Lord (the Self God), without expecting any reward, © Delusion of the senses and the need for withdrawal of attention from sense objects for the purpose of realization of the Self , (d) the two paths - Samkhya and Yoga, (e) causes of sin and how to avoid them, (f) Incarnation of the Lord for the sake of preserving Dharma. > > c.
