Missing Files at the archives at escribe.com

Greetings Advaitin:

One of the reality in the Cyberspace is the occasional

computer system failures and their consequences. When

the mailing list () posts the files to the

Advaitin Archive at escribe.com

(http://www.escribe.com/culture/advaitin) the computer

system has to be operational. At least twice a month

the escribe.com suffers heart-failures and the revival

sometimes takes for several days. For example,

Escribe.com computer system didn't work during the

night of Sunday and entire Monday. Consequently all

postings during this time failed appear on the

archive.

Sri Gummuluru Murthy was kind enough to alert me about

the problem and I have forwarded them back again

today. Any mails forwarded by me unfortunately doesn't

provide complete details about the origin of those

files. The Archive computer system believes in Nirguna

and removes all details about the original author's

email address etc. This is another reality.

All original files sent by the authors of the postings

will be intact at the archive located at:

</messages/advaitin>. I suggest

those who depend on reading messages from the WEB

should look at this address which is more accurate

than the archives at escribe.com.

We are fortunate that the Cyberspace is quite generous

in providing more than one archive site for our

postings and this is an insurance.

Thanks for your cooperation and understanding,

warme regards,

Ram Chandran
