Exchange of information between Mailing Lists

Advaita-L and Advaitin

 

Dear Members,

 

Many of you may be aware of the mailing list Advaita-L

.. If you are not, you can know more about the list at

<http://www.advaita-vedanta.org/>. The moderators of

Advaita-L and Advaitin recently explored the ways to

improve the exchange of information between these two

lists and to foster a friendly relationship. We are

happy to inform you that the discussions were very

cordial and we have agreed to make appropriate changes

accordingly.

 

First, the following steps will be undertaken to

facilitate free exchange of information between

Advaita-L and Advaitin:

 

A) Any message posted in Advaita-L can be forwarded to

Advaitin without prior permission from the author.

 

B) The article must be forwarded in its entirety and

no editing will be accepted (unless it is done by the

author himself).

 

C) All such forwarded articles should give full credit

to the author by either retaining the article header

and/or by siting appropriate Website file location

information.

 

D) The lists encourage authors to simultaneously post

the articles to both the lists. Alternatively the

authors or interested members can request the authors

to forward such articles.

 

Second, the list moderators of Advaita-L and Advaitin

encourage all members to to both the lists.

This way members can directly contribute to both the

lists and also get the benefits from the discussions

that happen in both the lists.

 

Third, members are encouraged to read Advaita-L and

Advaitin list policies and scope to make sure that the

postings sent to these lists meet the requirements and

needs.

 

Finally, the FAQ of Advaita-L and Advaitin will be

updated appropriately. Please feel free to send your

valuable comments and suggestions.

I think it should read "Advaitin can be forwarded to

Advaita-L".

 

Or you can add vice versa at the end. Otherwise, you

did not give

permission for forwarding posts from Advaitin to

Advaita-L.
