It is the power of ``love'' (which is a form of God) that is responsible for the earth to rotate without a pivot; that makes the stars stand across the sky without falling on the ground; that keeps the ocean within its limits; that makes the wind blow incessantly in all places; it (that power) is mysterious, infinite, one without a second and permeates the whole cosmos. The entire creation is saturated with divine love. Hence, just as the Supreme Being, the embodiment of love, showers it on humanity, man too should share this gift given to him, with others. But man conditions his love by associating it with worldly relations and wastes his life. Mere physical ties cannot be called love in the true sense of the term. A sincere and real devotee of God will exhibit this rare quality and serve mankind without expecting anything in return. It is the mind of man devoid of this factor which is responsible for conflicts and disturbances (not differences) in religions. For years, people have lived in unity in spite of various religions and communities. ``Religions are many but the goal is one; jewels may be of different patterns but gold is the same; stars are plenty but the sky is one; cows belong to different species but the milk yielded is the same; God's creations are numerous but they all breathe alike; nations are numberless but they form part of one world and flowers are of different hues but they are used to worship God.'' There is thus nothing wrong with any religion but the mistake lies in the minds of the followers. Man's nature should be to adhere to Truth, non-violence and compassion. He should keep himself constantly reminded of the fact that he is a human being who should observe the Law of Righteousness and not behave like an animal. Divinity shines in everyone and hence there is no need to hate others. In a lecture, Sri Sathya Sai Baba said, all the worldly relationships are temporary like passing clouds. They are subject to change with efflux of time but ``Reality'' is absolutely the same, that is the principle of Divine love and Lord Krishna is its embodiment. His name means ``one who attracts and one who ploughs the hearts and sows the seeds of affection in it and one who imparts Bliss''. Unrest in the world arises because of the absence of love and of broadmindedness. Some people, without any reason derive pleasure in causing harm to others not realising that one day they will have to reap the consequences of their mad acts. Cultivating divine qualities, offering worship to express one's gratitude to God, one should carry out his duties honestly and diligently when God is bound to bestow on him His rewards.
