Guest guest
hariH OM! this is in response to colette's insightful inquiry into the nature of sanyas and its implications. __________ actually, what needs to be renounced isn't anything profound or monumental. what has to be renounced is simply the historic habit in thinking that the ego can ever be anything more important than it really is: a working facet within the Great Plan of Life, possessing no more or less value than anything else within Its relative spectrum [of brahman's leela]. the transfigured ego is the jivatman, who innately [effortlessly] realizes its source in nirguna brahman. the sadhana associated with sanyas *en route* to the final resolution sought, can take on various forms, concerning desires entangled within the jiva, its station and function in the world, etc, representing the earlier stages of the training mode. only preparation... true sanyas is the renunciation of the isolated, alienated jiva [ordinarily] fixed in the deluded battle between what it believes is its self as a separative entity and its *own source* projected into 'All This is brahman.' namaste
