I am a law student at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and am

writing a paper about how the lack of information (or wrong information)

about

non-Christian religions in textbooks, combined with poor teacher training in

comparative religion, could be a violation of the Establishment Clause of

the

U.S. Constitution.

Do you have examples of American textbooks that have incorrect/wrong

information about your in them? If so, could you tell me the names of those

books? Thanks...

Also, if you know of people I could contact at other religious organisations

that would be great.

Dear Betsy

I am involved in Religious Education teaching in the UK.

The laws on teaching religion via accepted text books etc.

is quite different in this country hence I cannot help you with

USA situation. Some of our list members may be more

familiar with the situation in USA. I am forwarding your message

to our list to see if any other list member can help you
