Guest guest Posted November 3, 2000 Report Share Posted November 3, 2000 Hi there, I'm new here (jen from Toronto), I wanted to ask if anyone wouldn't mind giving me a true- accurate/authentic translation of 6:37-39 in the Bhagavad Gita(Arjuna asks Krishna, and Krisha responds) cuz I've found myself asking the same question and my translation of the Gita is very inadequate, I feel. Also where do you get the Avadhuta Gita I've seen mentioned on your site? (excuse my ignorance, I don't know any other than the common scriptures but I am thirsty for them all)... Does anyone know the first leelas (sp?) of Krishna? These I've been looking for too but haven't found yet... And finally, does anyone know of any excellent ashrams in Canada? Does such a one not get destroyed,without support, like a broken cloud ,having failed in both [action and knowldege], and deluded on the way to Brahman? 6:38 ------ etat = this me = my sa.nshayam = doubt kR^ishhNa = O Krishna chhettum = remove arhasi = it is proper asheshhataH = without a residue tvat = you anyaH = other than sa.nshayasya = of the doubt asya = of this chhettaa = dispeller na = not hi = truly upapadyate = obtains O Krishna! You are the proper person to remove this doubt of mine leaving no remnant.
