I have known Raghava Rao since his wife and daughter are students of my wife and were involved in the Venkateswara Vaibhavam - a dance drama by wife's dance school where his family were involved on the stage and behind the stage. We had nearly 50-60 dancers participating in that dance drama with more than six months of practice. He along with many parents helped us in the organization of the program which was attended by nearly 1400 people. Here my role was only a husband of a dance teacher who role is to make sure, off-the stage aspects are coordinated. If I start my Vedanta discussions with the off- the stage working group, as emphasized in the last BSB notes, everybody may become - akarthaa-s - and nothing can get done. I may be a good vedantin alright but not a devoted husband! Only in a send-off party we both ended up discussing about Vedanta and learned about his interests and advised him to join the adviatin list. Hari Om! Sadananda K. Guest guest
Hi Sadananda-ji, And Welcome to Shree Raghava! Sada-ji, I have a question for you.... With *your* great interest in Vedanta, as well as his, how were you able to know Shree Raghava for over a year without knowing his interest?? OM! --Greg At 07:44 AM 11/24/2000 -0500, K. He says he is not a dancer, but I have seen him dance beautifully to His enchantic music. His wife and daughter were students of Kalamandapam, a dance school run by my wife. His wife is a very great artist. She had built equisite palaquins and lotuses for the dance ballet Venkateswara Vaibhavam enacted few months ago by the Kalamandapam group. They are going back to India to prove that world is indeed round or puurNam. I have known him for more than year but came to know of his immense interest in Vedanta only recently. We are going to be enriched by his contributions to advaitin. My hearty welcome again. Hari Om! Sadananda K.
