From this bag, the jiva once again brings with it just ONE karma which becomes its PRARABHDA for this janma to reap the fruits of the same in its present life time. If the prarabhda karma with which you have come into this present birth was a good one, its effect in this janma will be a good one , like being born in a family of riches and thus making this life luxurious . If your prarabhda karma was one of spirituality (like japa karma) you could be born in a family of Veda Vids (Proficient in the Vedas) and your life could be one to enhance your spiritual attainments and to be ready to move to higher levels of saintly persuits in this life itself. Having been born, it is now left to you to add further karmas to your bag of Sanchita karmas keeping in mind that every karma stored in the bag has to fructify in this SAMSARA, ONE AT A TIME PER JANMA , thus guarenteeing COUNTLESS janmas for you to reap the fruits of all the karmas accumulated by you so far !!! Atleast in this janma, if I do NISHKAMYA KARMAS i.e. desireless actions that will not attract reactions, I have a chance for my emancipation in this janma itself. I should therefore strive to get out of this VICIOUS CYCLE of birth and death and address the task of leading this life with a determined effort to attain MUKTI. Hari Om !
