Guest guest Posted November 27, 2000 Report Share Posted November 27, 2000 swami chinmayanandaji used to state in his commentery ,'If you take the first and last word in geeta ,dharma and maama, it is clear that it teaches about my dharma.It is also stated that the whole geeta is a treatise on one mahavakya { tat twam asi}The firstsix chapters describe twam,chapters 7-12 tat and the last six chapters describe asi.Mahatma Gandhi stated in his book that whenever he was distraced or sad ,he went back to geeta.In fact in the geetadhyanam the auther calls her mothergeeta and states that he is connecting to motherGeeta.{probably as a fetus is connected to mother via umbilical cord for sustainance} Ambatwa anusandhdami, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
