Please can we go a little bit slower through the chapters? I am still

getting ready to delve into Chap 1 re Yoganandaji.

I work full time & the effect on the nervous system of such precious

knowledge shouldn't be rushed imo.

I can't catch up.

Love,

Col

Namaste Col,

We shall savor the first four capters for the rest of this

year! We shall step into the fifth [verse by verse] only after

readers give me the go-ahead![hopefully in Jan. 2001].

[Despite Ramji's admonition, I feel obliged to acknowledge his

craftsmanship in Introduction and Summaries of these 4 chapters.]

Nobody need feel rushed. Gita stays ever-fresh, with multiple

flavors and tastes emanating after each morsel!

The purpose of the Gita Satsang is exquisitely described by Sri

Krishna in Ch. 10, verse 9:

machchittaa madgatapraaNaa bodhayantaH parasparam.h .

kathayantashcha maa.n nitya.n tushhyanti cha ramanti cha ..

[mat chittaaH mat gata-praaNaaH bodhayantaH parasparam.h .

kathayantaH cha maam nityam tushhyanti cha ramanti cha ..]

"Their thoughts fixed on Me, their lives wholly given upto Me,

enlightening each other and ever conversing of Me, they are contented

and rejoicing in Me."

Regards,

s.
