I do feel that the sanskrit words used in the Gita must play a role in

understanding the meaning in the right perspective. I quoted that the word Sukam

and Shanti are used instead of Ananda for infering bliss , peace of the supreme.

This may or may not be a minor detail. It is in the interpretaion of the

sanskrit that the commentators differ. For example, Deha and Sharira both

translated into English mean body. However, Deha in sanskrit refers to a growing

body, sharira refers to a decaying body. Vishwaroopa is another word that can be

translated as Universal form, or as form of the universe. There is a difference

between both the meanings.

It would be pertinent if in the explanations to the Gita that are to be

given, the sanskrit verse and word meanings infered in the translation that was

chosen are also given.

Regards,

Anand
