They depute one of their chief stars, Agni, to find out. Unable to comprehend Brahman, the chief star returns. The stars then depute Vayu, the next star in command to find out. With all its might, the chief star could not move one straw placed by the Brahman. Then the gods depute their supreme star,Indra to find out. Seeing Indra, the mischievous Brahman disappeared. To the chief-star's surpise, Uma, daughter of Himavat, appeared in the same space. To his incessant curiosity, the Upanishad explains all about Brahman. 'With regard to the gods, it is that which now flashes forth in the lightning, and now vanishes again. With regard to the body, it is that which seems to move as mind, and by it imagination remembers again and again. The Brahman is called Tadvana...' --- From Talavakara (Kena) Upanishad, extracted from various books With Love, Raghava
