In a day we enter in to the new year. I pray the Lord Almighty to bless you

with peace and prosperity, so that you can achieve what you are born to

achieve.

Also, I would like to point out to the list that nobody should make any

personal remarks on anybody. Such a behavior is tantamount to violating the

list's objective. On behalf of this list, and personally as an outgoing

chief moderator I would like to apologize our learned scholar Sri Jayshankar

Narayan for the remarks came upon him from a member of this list. Certainly

such remarks are not warranted towards any member of this list, including

the originator Ganga! As moderators of this list I see that it is our duty

to uphold the honor of all members. Please see that you respect each other.

Thank you.

Now coming to the point of Knowledge, Grace and Experience --- I would like

to express a few words.

Knowledge --- jnAna, what is the right knowledge? At this point the

following 4 slokas from Bhagawad Gita are very important and points to

ponder upon. From these slokas, we will know (1) Why is knowledge essential

(2) Is knowledge possible to attain in a single birth, how does the

knowledge dawn (3) which one is better among --- practice, knowledge,

meditation, renunciation ---- what is the end point (4) What is the right

knowledge. I would request the readers to go to our Files area and read

the meanings of these slokas.
