Brahmasuutra Glossary Macro

Dear All,

For those studying Sadananda's excellent notes on the Brahmasuutra and

having difficulty with some of the Sanskrit, Sunder is very kindly

maintaining a glossary of all of the words that have been used.

Unfortunately this is becoming ever longer and it may be taking readers some

time to locate the meanings. Certainly I began to experience this problem

some time ago and, in order to help, produced a Visual Basic macro to run

under MS Word.

The way this works is that, when reading the notes within MS Word, you can

highlight any Sanskrit word that you don't understand, click on a button on

the toolbar and a message box will pop up with the meaning of the word. This

all works fine. However, Sunder has tried to implement it on his system with

only limited success. What I would like to happen is that when people load

the glossary into word, Word automatically sets up the button on the toolbar

and enables the search macro. I myself currently have the macro running from

Normal.dot.

I am asking the members of the group if there is anyone with sufficient

interest and VBA knowledge to be able to take my macro and incorporate it

into the Glossary to operate in the way described. I have done similar

things before in Excel but have been unable to work out how to do it in

Word. Once this has been done, the facility would then be made available to

everyone through the Glossary.
