Guest guest
OM Pranam You need not know Sanskrit to follow Vedanta. That would be a contradiction. Sanskrit is the mother of all languages and is more than a language is a Mother verily to all. Vedanta comes much later. Initially Good conduct to oneself and to others, Harmony with oneself, with nature. Love. Then conquest of the mind - concious and sub concious. Satsang and Japa are the Sureshot panacea for this, doing ones duty viz study and work and raising a family is Yoga in itself-If it is done properly. Anything you do has to make you happy otherwise there is no use doing it - you are doing it wrong. Introspect, look within, and do your duty - but o it RIGHT. What you are saying is that the only way is Sanyasa, remember the egsample of householders like King Janaka, Sri Rama, Sri Bharat, think of statesman like Bhishma, Vidura. Doing your duty is itself Yoga. Translation of verse etc have their own significance, but DO NOT CONFUSE THE MEANS WITH THE END. WHY DO YOU WANT TO TRANSLATE WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN TRANSLATED. IS THIS A SUBTLE PLAY OF THE EGO? THINK UNDERSTAND JAPA JAPA JAPA SATSANG SATSANG SATSANG OM OM OM ------------ Get FREE E-Mail http://www.valuemail.net
