You can read a comparison of the

"no effort, no choice" approach taught by:

Papaji (Poonjaji) and his ambassadors

and J. Krishnamurti including the

"everything is a functioning of the totality"

fatalism taught by Ramesh and Wayne

verses the intense continuous effort approach

taught by:

Sri Ramana Maharshi and Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

taken out of context here of course..but this sentence

alone is nevertheless misleading. it should read, "the

intense continuous effort approach, being one of the

methods taught by RM.."

sri ramana was immensely flexible and adaptable in his

approach and prescribed methods for each indvidual.

obviously the most common was self-enquiry, which can

and usually starts with 'effort,' which gradually falls

away.. resolving an 'existential attitude' instead of

a volitional process.
