Actually they have added lots of new features to the site and they are trying to exercise some monopoly power. You should goto and follow the direction. This will not affect posting messages to advaitin or receiving messages from the mail server in the immediate future. However, in the long run, you are better off to learn and adopt to the upcoming changes. This will help you to adjust to the new reality of this merger. Those who want to visit the archives or files folder should become aware of the change of the URL addresses. You may have to change your bookmarks appropriately with the correct address.
