Ref: Gujarat Relief work.

 

Various bodies in London have been working hard and have

started collecting and sending funds, medicine & clothes to India.

 

(1) One of the bodies (I have been working with on Hinduism) is called

SKLPC - Sri katch leva patidar samaj.

 

They had meetings in London at their samaj place in Northolt and

also at their temple in Kenton. Each gathering has produced

over 100,000 pounds donations.

A lot of youngsters have already departed for Gujarat hoping to help

with medical and other needs. More information can be obtained

(3)The Swaminarayan (Baps) movement have also launched an appeal

and have already started relief work in Katch.

Any donation via them can be arranged by sending payment to

All these bodies are working with the promise of

'zac' -- meaning zero administration costs.

 

(4) The Ramakrishna order also works on the

same principles funds can besent directly to

Rajkot (make cheques payable to

Ramakrishna Ashram and post it to

Many of the Hindu bodies in London have put in a lot of energy and

devotion towards this relief work.

 

We all have to do our best and help in this task.

Most of our list members are scattered round the world and

may be contributing through their local charitable bodies.

We request all to participate..

 

We send our prayers that the suffering people of Gujarat

are given the strength to bear the anguish they are feeling right now.
