Guest guest
Harih Om: Namaste, It is my pleasure to introduce Sri V.M. Sundararm to the Advaitin List. He has joined recently and has been quite active ever since. On behalf of all of you, I welcome him again. I want to remind the new members of the list that the list encourages them to send an introductory paragraph to the list. In Toastmasters clubs, the first speech of the new member is known as the 'Ice Breaker or Self Introduction." Preferably, the first posting from a new member of the list should be an 'Ice Breaker!' warmest regards, Ram Chandran A self introductory paragraph from Sri V.M. Sundaram: ==================================================== I am a 71 years old retired man, now living with my son in Singapore. Acquring a basic knowledge of Sanskrit, and some peripheral familiarity with our scriptures has been my hobby for a long time. My skimpy knowledge of advaita is bookish and not experiential. I have had the good fortune to listen to Svaami Dayaananda Sarasvati and Svaami Paramarthananda. Before retirement I served the Govt.of India for 35 years as a technocrat in the field of telecommunications. I grew up in the BC era ( before computers). So my skill with computers is limited. Regards. V.M.Sundaram
