namaste.

 

My name is gummuluru murthy. I was born in Andhra Pradesh state

of India 59 years ago. I have migrated to Canada 35 years ago and

for my living, I work as professor of Earth Sciences at a Canadian

University. I live in Canada with my wife and three children, all

three children grown-up and at a stage of pursuing their own lives.

 

I had a bit of a background in vedanta early on in life, but got

interested in shri shankara's teachings more seriously for the past

ten years. I study the bhAShyA-s and contemplate on them and as

time permits, I participate in the local discussion groups and

give occasional talks at the local temple. I am a shrilalitA-upAsaka

and I have deep faith that shri lalitA is guiding me in every step

of my life.
