I am a disciple of Swami Chinmayanandaji. Originally grew up as

VishishhTadvaitin, since I was born to a great scholar and renowned poet in

Rayalaseem who spend his whole life propagating VishishhTadvaiata. As the

fate would have it, I did not learn enough of VishishhTaadvaita and in

between got exposed to more of material science (ended up as material

scientist), JK philosophy and ultimately Advaita when many of my questions

found satisfactory answers. I am currently teaching Vedanta on behalf

Chinmaya Mission Washington regional center - taking Giita class on Sundays

for Virginia group. I found teaching is the best way to learn. We have

covered several other texts during past five, six years that I have been

involved. Currently I am contributing notes on Brahmasuutra as per Shankara

bhaashya based on the lectures that I attended while I was in Madras by H.H.

Swami Paramaarthanandaji. While in the Mission I had a great opportunity to

learn from not only my guru, Swami Chinmayanandaji, but also from Swami

Dayandandaji while he was in the mission, Swami Tejomayanandaji, Swamini

Saradapriyanandaji, Dheeranandaji just to name a few. I owe all my knowledge

to all these great teachers. Besides the Vedantic knowledge, how to life

the life of Vedanta - that I learned by close observation of some the above

mahatma-s particularly my gurudev - swamiji Himself - who was very kind to

me and to my family - my daughter essential grew up in his lap - and to

swamini Sarada Priyanandaji.

All I can say is I am blessed with great parents, blessed with great

teachers and blessed with great wife and daughter and blessed with great

friends and now blessed with this list serve wherein I could freely

contribute and learn. Life is just a continuous blessings and I cannot thank

enough that great Lord who blessed me abundantly that I cannot even dream of

repaying him back. Life is so beautiful and I am enjoyng every minute of it.

- As swami Vivekanandaji put it the apparent jarring notes once in way makes

the rest of it even so much more beautiful. So the apparent govt. paper

work in the office makes the rest of the life even more exciting.

Hari OM!

Sadananda
