Guest guest
Namaste. I was born and brought up in Andhra Pradesh, India. Born to a lineage of Sanskrit poets, though, I know no Sanskrit at this time. We belong to Dvaitic tradition. I was a keen Bhakta in my childhood. After teens, I realized that I did not need God, probably called Agnostic as per terminology. Why do I need God to get my things done, I thought, if I on my own can do or fail in the process. I did not see the role of God here. Though a beautiful link was thus cutoff, being a keen appreciator of music retained my links to the beautiful. It took me 10 years this way to come back to God in a full circle. This time, I came back to God with God an end itself-- end of all search and a new beginning. I did not learn from any Guru; I am of a personal opinion that there is no better Guru than God himself/herself. I read a little bit on Upanishads, Swami Vivekananda, RK, Gita, Bible, Buddha, Shankara's works. I am now a combination of Advaitic and Dvaitic mix, and above all, open to come what may. I switch between Advaitism, VishistAdvaitism and Dvaitism instantly whenever needed. I treat Scriptures on any religion as Scriptures of the Brahman, yet all of them combined falling grossly short of describing Brahman.I consider myself fortunate to have a role model in Swami Vivekananda. Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Shankara, RK are my favorites. I also read a little bit on Edgar Cayce's works earlier. Professionally, I am a computer software developer and travelled in Asia, Australia, Europe, India, USA on job. Currently living off a suitcase in USA. I also consider ourselves fortunate to have come across some beautiful people, especially Shree Sadananda's family, whose spouse was also a dance teacher to my spouse and daughter. I also think sometimes that there is so much beauty in God's creation that it is impossible to perceive so much of it, unless, we use the infinite Brahman for the purpose, though it is like using an Airplane to get around highways. :-) Did not Bhagiratha use Lord Shiva to bring Ganges down ?
