Guest guest
I am originally from Russia, came to US to get a graduate degree in biochemistry, now living in US and study biochemistry of cancer. My family is atheist for several generations, although one of the grand-grand-mothers was a devout Christian. She died very old before my interest in religion developed, but now as I think of her, she was a perfect Advaitin as well. She had a great influence on me, she was such a contrast with anything that I considered religious at that time. I am studying Bhagavat Gita, Upanishads, and any advaitic book I come across. I love the Gita the most - it is simple and beautiful. Anything else written everywhere is already said in Gita more beautifully. I am getting easily confused with complex discourses, so I prefer to keep it simply. I am a happy person, I love my work, my family and everything around. I don't seem to have big problems, big unanswered questions or big goals. Small ones as well, to think about it. So, I don't have much to write about... Thanks for letting me stay among such a nice company. Lilia
