Guest guest
Namaskar. My name is Surjit Dixit, am 28 years and have been on this list for about 8 months now. My background in Vedantic studies until I joined this list was mainly restricted to the basic guidelines on life and dharma I was taught in my upbringing. My grandfather was a devi upasaka, supported by the rest of the family during his elaborate pujas. He was also involved in translating works of the saint Vedaranya. Now following the mails on this list I often recollect many of the sanskrit shlokas he used to recite and discuss, which did not mean much to me then, but now I realise I was very lucky to have atleast heard them from him:) On the personal front i have felt most touched and awed by the marvel of the great lord after studying molecular biochemistry and biophysics where the modern science reveals how protein and DNA molecules which would otherwise appear as just some more chemicals in a test tube, actually live a life to make us what we are. To me it appears like these molecules carry both the saguna and nirguna traits of the brahman we all love. I currently do computer simulation of these molecules for my research! Although I have been silent on the list most of the while, I assure all learned members of the list that I sincerely try to learn from your knowledgable posts and thank you all for the same. Namaskar. Surjit
Guest guest
Thank you very much. How ever, please be kind to us and send us your name also. If you don't want to reveal your full name to us, then please send us the name you are identifying yourself with. In either case, we do need a name to identify the form which is behind the writing :-)... We appreciate your co-operation. Thank you.
