Guest guest
Hello everyone: I am a new member on this list. What I have heard about Shankara, Vedanta and hinduism comes initially from René Guénon and Ananda Coomaraswamy ... and many sacred scriptures of course. And many other authors, like Eliade and so called gurus like Sri Aurobindo, for example. Do any of you have a commentary about Guénon or Coomaraswamy's writings on Vedanta? Is it true that in Vedas, Upanishads and the whole sacred scriptures there is not the idea of reincarnation, but the different ideas of metempsicosis and transmigration?
