Guest guest
There have been so many posts on the philosophy of Acharya Shankara and not enough on His Bhakthi. After all its the Bhakthi that is responsible for the advaitic experience and not philosophy. One touch of the divine, removes all philosophy. Then its only the bliss of Bhakthi that remains. "Avinyamapanaya Vishnno Damaya Manaha Shamaya VishayaMrigathrishnnaam. Bhoothadayaam Visthaaraya Thaaraya Samsaarsaagaraath." "O Lord, the all pervading One, do remove my egotism and calm my mind. Do You take away my illusion of the world. Do You increase my love for all beings and save me from the ocean of worldly existence." Sathyapi Bhedaapagame Nattha Thavaaham Na Mamkeensthvam. Saamudro Hi Tharangaha Kvachan Samudro Na Thaarangaha .. " It is the waves that merge themselves in the Ocean and not the Ocean in the waves. So truthfully, when all the differences are removed, it is I who lose myself in You and not You in me." -Sri Shankara, Vishnu Shatpadi.
