Guest guest
Om Idam nama rishibhyah purvajebhyah purvebhyah pathikridbhyah (Rig-veda) Om This is our salutation to our Great Rishis, who are our ancestors and have made the path (of righteousness or self-realization) for us. Om Respected Dear Friends, I thank Shri Kamaleshwaran ji very much on behalf of all of us. The article he has posted, has brought me to tears and I'm sure must have enchanted many among us. I'm for the first time finding something which I really was dying to know. I salute him and Thank him very much. I really found it the most interesting thing I ever read. Pujya Jagad Guru Shankaracharya ji (kanchi parama guru ji) has touched my heart more than any other modern writer. I prostrate unto his divine lotus feet. Dearest Friends, One thing more, how can a religion, which is for the children of Israel or for the folk of Arab, be the religion of the world? Never. But indeed only Vedas are worth to be a religious book of the world. The Vedas say, shrinvantu vishve amritasya putraah, "O you all the sons of that immortal being! Listen unto me". This is the world religion, where the word "vishva" (universe) is used. My Dearest Friends! It is the only and only book which teaches us the path of righteousness, for our physical, mental, spiritual and environmental health and improvement. Please don't abandon it, Please don't forget it, Please, please, please. PLEASE!!!!!! However, I would also like to add to this artical the following facts. The word Yahvah, which is the most sacred name of God according to Judaism and Christianity and it shouldn't be uttered by our tongue according to their respective religious rule, and therefore it is never pronounced, but just called Tetragrammaton, is frequently used in the meaning of God in the Vedas. It is a Vedic word and according to Yaska it is formed from the root "yaja pujaayam", from which the word "yajna" is also formed. Kapota (white dove) has many times been used in the Vedas as a symbol of the Spirit (or Atman). What does this show? There are many facts. O my dearest friends, you all should wake up and come back to your true religion, by studying and understanding the Vedas. You all might know it very well, why did Krishna and Rama take birth and other Avataras (like Mina Avatara etc.), to preserve/protect the Vedas and the Vedic religion. Why are we forgetting the Vedas today? Being a Hindu, how many among us have studied them? How many know their meaning? Why all this? It brings me to tears. Why have we abandoned this direct utterances of the Supreme Brahman? Why have we forgotten our great ancestors, called Rishis, who have shown us the correct path of living? How many among us know the name of them? Why is this happening? In the service of the Vedas, Jayatu Jayatu Vedah, Siddhartha > Friends, > > I reproduce below the discourse of Kanchi Paramachaarya on the > topic " Sanathana Dharma -- The Universal Religion" as translated by > Sri RGK in the book Hindu Dharma, published by Bharatiya Vidya > Bhavan. This gives evidences for those statements made by Sri. > Siddhartha Krishna. > > This chapter is available in the following link. > http://www.kamakoti.org/hindudharma/part2/chap2.htm > > "In the dim past what we call Hinduism today was prevalent all over etc..........
