Guest guest
Hi Ram-ji, I agree with Harsha! And to tell you the truth, all the intellectual verbiage that issues from my own keyboard is never, ever intended to resolve intellectual puzzles to anyone's satisfaction whatsoever. It is more along the lines of playing chess or painting a landscape... This is my last post and I want just listen and stop all intellectual debates from my side. ____ Beginning of wisdom! :-). Guest guest
Namaste Ramji, Gregji, and Harshaji, Please do not deprive us of the intellectual feast, those of us still trudging on the path! As the 'subhaashhita' says: "no charity excelleth that of the gift of knowledge" [ie whenever you can spare the time]. Guest guest
This thread may be finished but I just came across this quotation and thought others might appreciate it: - ....As the sky is to the light of the sun, so is the mind to the light of truth and wisdom. Neither the sky nor the intellect ever receive rays of light when they are clouded, but once they are pure and clear they both receive them immediately. ... the divine cannot be spoken or learned as other things are. However, from continued application and a matching of one's life to the divine, suddenly, as if from a leaping spark, a light is kindled in the mind and thereafter nourishes itself. -- Marsilio Ficino, Letter (1433-1499) Dennis
