Guest guest
Harsha-ji, You had posted: "A true sage requires that you face your sorrow so thoroughly and intimately that it disappears in the very understanding of itself. I was under the impression that its understanding the CAUSE of the sorrow that will make it truly disappear, and all else is but a band-aid instead of surgery. Here, its said that understanding the sorrow itself is what causes it to disappear. Please clarify the difference and help me understand this better. Thank you, Shuba +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- +-+-+-+-+-+-+ Love is not a thing of the mind. It is only when the mind is really quiet, when it is no longer expecting, asking, demanding, seeking, possessing, being jealous, fearful, anxious -- when the mind is no longer projecting itself, pursuing its particular sensations, demands, urges, hidden fears, no longer seeking self-fulfillment or being held in bondage to belief -- only then there is a possibility of love. -J.Krishnamurthi ______________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag
