Guest guest
Greetings Paul: Japa and Kirtan are quite common among Hindu worshippers. No one can deny the fact that music brings peace to the mind. Japa and Kirtans are the devotional music which orginates from the heart. Consequently it is very beneficial and benefit is directly proportional to faith and devotion. Fortunately, the Internet contains an ocean of devotional Kirtans both in text form and also in audio form. Here are some sample sights. http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acropolis/8891/ http://www.kamakoti.org/main/audio.html http://www.hindunet.org/puja/hindi.html http://www.siao.com/saivoice/choose00.htm If you use one of the search engine and search for keywords such as 'Bhajan,' 'kirtan,' etc. you can collect nice collection. I hope that other members of the list will also share more site information to you. Good Luck! Ram Chandran advaitin, "Paul J.
