Guest guest
Namaste, Many thanks for the URL. Would you kindly mention the best article relating the concept of emptiness with beatitude? In the Vedantic concept of 'puurNa', 'aananda' or beatitude is an inherent nature of 'sat'[existence] and 'chit'[consciousness], and not just absence of 'duHkha'[sorrow]. Thank you. Guest guest
sunderh [sunderh] Namaste, Many thanks for the URL. Thank you. Regards, s. Yes! It is beyond words. Yet, upon Knowledge of the Self, the beautiful words of the ancient Seers are seen to be exact and precise derived from Direct Experience. Sat-Chit-Ananda-Nityam-Poornum. Existence, Consciousness, Bliss that by its very nature is Whole (Poornum) and Eternal (Nityam). That Is Self-Revelation or Self-Recognition when mind is lies I am not that familiar with all the different branches of Buddhism, and neither am I a religious scholar but the notion of Emptiness with Beatitude makes perfect sense. The Self That Is Whole, One Whole, is utterly empty of anything other than It Self. Only the Self. Whether one says It Is Fullness of Consciousness or Emptiness with Beatitude, it seems absolutely the same. When everything is gone, there is only One. When everything appears, there is only One. Call That One, by any name. It has no point of reference, yet it is ever-present. Love to all Harsha

Imagine that you've a severe toothache or a mouth ulcer which makes life miserable for you for days. Then when it is healed and the pain is absent, you feel a lot of relief, is it not? You've not got anything new, just that a hinderance has been removed. That gives you an unique kind of relief/happiness. Likewise, samsaara is suffering. To really know/experience this suffering, itself is half the job done. This is what gives meaning to the Advaitic concept of mumukshutvam - or intense desire for liberation. If you're happy in samsaara why would you desire liberation? It is on a full awareness of the suffering in samsaara that you desire nirvaana. As in the healing of the wound and the relief which subsequently follows, the end of suffering/samsaara, itself is bliss.
