The Website doesn't provide information about ownership, purpose of this site and explanation for a high registration fee ($30 immediate fee and $300 for life-time fee). The purpose of this site could potentially be to collect money without providing adequate service. There are many excellent free websites (see the bookmark folder of advaitin list for details) which provide all the information that are (may be available) at slokas.com. I strongly recommend Sri Padmanabhan to explain clearly and clarify before attempting to collect money from the world community. Advaitin list doesn't and will not endorse such websites where the major focus is to collect money rather than spreading the messages or information on Upanishads and religious texts. This post is just to warn the fellow members not to pay any money for registeration and/or for viewing the site. The list will make sure in future such messages will not be entertained in this list. I firrst thought that that the website provides free service to the community. After visiting your site, I found that it is a capital venture undertaken and financed by few with a profit motive. That is quite all right from a business point of view, but this list will not entertain advertisements for business ventures. Your reply clearly indicates that you are not a not-profit spiritual organization, we can't permit you to advertise in this list. Dear Sirs The site I agree is still under development stage.If you had noticed in the site, there is no immediate demand for fees.Fees are going to be charged only when content is sufficient enough.And secondly the site proposes to distribute almost entirely its profits other than to investors as dividend and some amounts for futher development , to the cause of revival of Hinduism and to the needy religious trusts all over India.It will also be contributing money for maintenance and upkeep of various delapitated temples in india which need funds to keep them alive.
