Consciousness is unquilifed. To differentiate consciousness associted with

upaadhi's one talks as though it is conditioned consciousness or reflected

consciousness in relation to unquilified or pure consciousness -

pratibinba-binba relationship. Use of the term Super etc is to differentiate

the pure consciouseness from the apparent conditioned consciousness.

Jay, what Ashokananda is saying is that we are all the Self,

in this moment, eternally. It's always on, it just appears to

be absent to most. The mind renders an idea of "me",

and we become blind to the understanding that this "me"

doesn't exist. "We" see ourselves as real as individuals,

having become identified with the idea of "me".

This identification isn't a "perversion" imposed by some "we,"

it's just a virtue of the fact that we appear to have bodies.
