Guest guest
Sir, Abhyasa and Vairagya are meant for the mind to reduce its idea of the false self. It is the false self notion that creates a play on the play ground. Krsna's advise to Arjuna is to get back to the realization. Arjuna had the destiny to become self realized. Unless one is destined to be on the path, Abhyasa and vairagya are less important to the mind. Doership can lead the horse to the water but the drinking would not happen unless it is the destiny. That is why Abhyasa and vairagya are ' outside the off stump' for those who are not destined on the path. Venkatesh
