Guest guest
With all due respects, these quotes out of context has no meaning. I have studied Shree Ramesh Balsekar as well his guru- Nisargadatta Maharaj and have a great respect for both. These words are to be meditated and out of context they are more confusing that meditative. Please pardon my bluntness. >A NET of JEWELS >daily meditations for seekers of Truth >RAMESH S. We have to throw the Veda-s if it so. What Balsekar implies is obviously different from what the statement imply. But that does not come out of these posted blurbs. "not the presence but the absence - not the positive but negative not the seen but unseen source" -- In fact one can argue it is the otherway - If I am the reality (I am that) then I cannot be absence nor negative - in fact 'I am' involves present existent entity. I know Balsekarji does not imply what it says and if so it will be completely opposite to what his own teacher - the author of 'I am that" says. > ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ >~ ~ ~ ~ > > >Excessive verbal communication has become so compulsive and widespread that >it is taken for granted as the only way to understand anything. >But real Understanding is of a different dimension altogether. > Communication is the only way to pass on the knowledge - if not Balsekharji would not write this book nor the "I am that" with discussions by Nisargadatta Maharaji would happen. Real understanding is to use the words to go beyond the words. That is what a sampradaaya teacher involves - A teacher trained to teach Vedanta by his teacher. My apologies if my comments sound harsh. By reading out of context and segments taken out from logical discussions would only do injustice to the author - at least that is my opinion. Hari Om! Guest guest
Hola Amigo, A Net of Jewels is a book. I post the readings, that is all. Here is what the editor stated on the introduction. "It is important to remember that these meditations are not puzzles to be solved, coded messages to be "figured out" or vitamins to be swallowed whole, rather they are on the order of tasty treats to be held gently in one's intuitive heart and allowed to melt. From such simple moments great Understanding is sometimes revealed." Wayne Liquorman Namaste, Manuel advaitin, "K.
