Announcement of Posting of Verses and Commentary from Atma Bodah

I am happy to inform you that Sri Vivek Ananad Ganesan will be posting

the verses from Atma Bodha (Teachings of the Self) composed by Sri

Sankaracharya. Sri Sadanandaji used to conduct study group classes

in Washington Metropolitan using Swami Chainmayanda's translation and

commentary.

 

I request Sri Sadanandaji to write a small introduction to Atma Bodha.

I am also hopeful that Sri Sadanandaji will provide more insights

at appropriate times.

 

I want to thank Sri Vivek Anand Ganesan for his willingness to post

this important work of Sri Sankaracharya. This is a great opportunity

for other members who want to post other works of Sri Sankaracharya in

course of time.

Ram - thanks for the honor. I wrote something on Atma bodha after

the text was completed in our class, taking the first ten slokas.

This was few years ago. I can post that but I will wait till shree

Vivek Anand Ganesan completes those first ten sloka-s since I do not

want to pre-empty the series with my never ending blurbs.
