Guest guest
Dear Friends, While writing my book on Panini's Grammar, I came across a very interesting statement of Panini, so'sya nivaasah (4-3-89). According to this rule, even a person, who is not Bharatiya from birth, but just lives in Bharata, is also called "Bharatiya". Hence, according to this rule, in Sanskrit, every person, even who lives in India for one day, also becomes "Bharatiya". India is great! It makes a person Bharatiya in the second he steps in to the country! Cheers, Siddhartha
