Guest guest
Dear paramatman ken, Hattangadi parabrhaman has rightly clarified your query. Further in Gita III 33, Bhagavan declares, all beings are taken in by their basic nature that has come with them in this birth due to their karmas of the past births. Including a full fledged Jnani is forced by this basic nature or his / her Prakriti. Bhagavan gesticulates by asking, what use is there by mere self restrain? In Durga Saptasati, it is declared that the All Powerful Maya deludes the minds of even very mature Jnanis compulsively. The only way to get over the forces of this basic Nature also called Maya is complete surrender to the Almighty. In due course, the sense of 'I' has to be recognised continuously by extreme Awareness, which leads to the Surrender to the Atman Itself. Then the past Karmas will lose their vigour by the sheer Grace of the Supreme Paramatman. This aspect is declared by Bhagavan in Gita X 11. This Awareness generated Devotion to Paramatman is termed as Budhiyoga, or the Union of the Budhi , (a higher faculty than the Mind, which is fully active under Awareness). In this state the Aspirant has no desires and all his actions become totally detached and no Karma sticks to them. The Light of Jnana gets lit up by the Grace of the Lord at the right time. Prostrations and Adorations dear Atman,Ken Sankar.
