Guest guest
Namaste Lilia: Thanks for sharing the letter with a beautiful explanation to the question: "why God let people suffer on the earth." I remember an interesting quotation: "Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional." Actually all that God does is to inject some painful medicines for our refinement. Most of the time, we suffer due to self inflicted wounds rather than from painful medicines. Also, dvaitic view is submerged within the advaitic (a-dvaitic) view. Most important, God is an integral part of Shankara's Advaita philosophy. The dvaitins assume 'one-god plus the rest' where as advaitins consider there is 'only god.' In other words we believe in the 'TRUTH' and we don't care where and from whom it came from! warmest regards, Ram Chandran Note: Good to see your post on Advaitin List's Third Anniversay Day. advaitin, "Stepanova, Lilia" <lilia.stepanova@s...> wrote: > Namaste, dear all. > > Today I received a letter which I want to share.
