Guest guest
Namaste. Does any one remember about the Consciousness during deep sleep? This is begging the question. Deep sleep is when the mind and its memory functions are totally inactive. But the fact that I am not aware of anything during my deep sleep is itself an expression of Consciousness. Awareness of total darkness in a room is the effect of being Conscious and it is the same Consciousness that is aware of the presence of light in the room. Is consciousness present during coma stage? Medical opinion has this to say. It appears when somebody has been in coma for quite some time, if you call him by his first name and attempt it repeatedly, he shows signs of responding. The esoteric explanation of this is that the Ego hanging on to one's name is so strong that whatever Consciousness activates, it is the Ego that is first activated.
