The Sage does not "have concern" for imagined suffering. But, He still relieves the sufferings of people. The daughter of Sri G.V. Subbaramayya, a great devotee of Sri Ramana Maharshi was extremely unwell and was near death. At that time he sent a telegram to Sri RamanaAshram praying for Bhagavan's grace. Miraculously, at the instant that Bhaganvan read the telegram, his daughter started to recover. Later Holy Prasad was sent from the Ashram to Sri G.V. Subbaramayya's residence and his daughter fully recovered. The interesting part is that when Sri Subbaramayya visited Sri RamanaAshram, he asked Bhagavan, that when He had seen his telegram, had Bhagavan thought of the well being of his daughter. Bhagavan replied, "A Jnani does not have the least bit of Sankalpa. Such a thought can never occur to Him for then He wont be a Jnani." The fact is that automatically a power is activated whenever anything is presented before a Jnani and this power always does the highest good.
