Guest guest
First of all, I don't understand what is the relevance for this petition with this list! Since it is posted anyway, I would like to specify that I WILL NOT SIGN ANY SUCH PETETION. My reasons are given below: 1. I believe, the people whom this petetion is addressed are holding the highest public offices. They assumed their offices through election, which means majority of the people support them in what ever decission they take. Majority of the people trust they take good decissions. We need not distract them by sending such kind of petitions... 2. I believe, though a war should not be started, it shouldn't be stopped when it has already started! Crying out loud "LET THERE BE NO WAR" could easily be traced to a Arjuna state of mind. Having come in to the middle of the battlefield, crying will do no good. Understand who are the perpetrators, understand their crime! Have no hatred in your heart! Teach them a lesson so that the comming generations will keep that lesson in mind and will not dare *torch* the humanity again. If you can't teach the kids when they are in school, you can never teach them. By perpetrating this henious act, those people have entered in to the school of human justice, teach we must....losing a chance is losing the humanity forever! 3. I believe, if challanged one should always respond, otherwise, as told by Lord Rama "The couragious patience of the wisemen can be easily misinterprited as cowardice". As Mahatma Gandhi said ---- while ordering to shoot and kill the dogs in the Wardha Ashram which have gone mad --- "There is no point in talking to an animal which can't understand" --- which has no meaning of civility in its dictionary. 4. I believe, what is destined to happen can not be stopped by mere petitions, it takes more than that. Let Lord have mercy on the souls who have brutally attacked the entire humanity. Sorry! I am not going to Sign! Since it is posted anyway, I would like to specify that I > WILL NOT SIGN ANY SUCH PETETION. = I agree with Shri Madhav's stand. Many Hindu men constantly give the impression of being cowards and running away from battle. If there are bad people trying to hurt the whole society they must be eliminated. Are we always going to wait for Lord Vishnu's avatars? Taliban asked Hindus to wear Yellow head badges. They actively particiapte in subversive activities against Indians killing and maiming a large number of innocents. I wonder whether this overwhelming desire for peace is an indiacation of "tamasic" tendencies or sattvic realization. Can we assume a snake for a rope and whether such an assumption will automatically make the snake behave like a rope.
