Guest guest
Dear Ravi, Hari Om! Thank you for your kind reply. I never said I am write :-) What I say is what I leared from my learned teachers. That is why when I write I always use the words "I believe" (which comes out of my conviction) or "I think" (I am still thinking on it, thinking loud). I still stand to my opinion that AtharvaNavEda talks much about the worldly attainments. Please read it again and show me in which other Veda the Seer has uttered such words like "My Enimy should die, he should die before my spit dries up on the ground, he should die before Sun Sets...etc..." There are many more hymns in that veda which are pretty unconventional. Also why is that Vedas are called "Trayi"? When they are four in total? My teacher Swamini Saradapriyananda told me that Atharvana Veda must be a later development, she also expressed this view in her book "The role of Women and untouchables in the Vedas" (VedamlO Streelu Soodrulu). She wrote that book after doing an extensive research on Vedas. I believe my teacher. So I expressed it. I stand to be corrected. But please come out with solid evidence :-) I remain yours, Mahava > -----Ursprungliche Nachricht----- > Von: Ravisankar S.
