gita and upnishadas

Namaskar dear friends,

 

I fully agree, with mr Ramchandran that salvation lies in knowledge

and not in action

 

I fully agree further, that the real source of the real knowledge

that is brahmavidya is 'upanishdas'

 

Now, I think Bhagavad Gita is like small short notes prepared from

all upnishdas and hence is summary of all upnishadas.

 

Am i correct, if not why not ?

 

Can some body throw some light on some basic cocept covered in

upanishidas without a mention in gita

This is true of one part of it, but Zaehner argues that the

Upanishadic enlightenment is only one stage and not the final one.

The final one is adoration of Krishna as God. Mind you, he was a

Catholic, so much of his argument is self-serving. On the other hand,

this is also the belief of the SKC.

I fully agree that the the final stage is the devotion to Lord Krishna
