Guest guest
Namaste, This year, Dec. 26 by the Lunar Calendar, is the 11th day [Ekadashi] of the bright or waxing half of the Moon-phase, in the month of Margashirsha [mentioned in the Gita, as a 'vibhuti' or glory of the Supreme Spirit Itself], a day on which Sri Krishna Himself held a dialogue with Arjuna, handed down to us through 5 millenia, as a Gospel of Ultimate Freedom. This day is celebrated as Gita Jayanti, Vaikuntha Jayanti, Mokshada Ekadashi. Fasting and recitation of the Gospel form the most auspicious 'tapas' for this day. I would urge all readers to contribute their thoughts to the Gita Satsang, as additional 'tapas'! May Gita guide us all to the true happiness, a birth-right we often ignore.
