Kanchi Paramacharya did the Arunachala pradakshina, but did > not meet Sri Ramana personally. I did ask this question to my teacher on how Mahatmas communicate with each other and she replied "they never do"! :-) I took some time to digest this, then I realized that when there is one that is there, where is the question of talking! what could they talk! I kept silent with out asking any more questions. But then my teacher was compassionate enough to explain further, she also narrated another incident which took place between Mahatma Gandhi and Rabindranath Tagore! Both Mahatma and Tagore are well known for their spiritual wisdom. It seems many people had wondered what would they discuss if Mahatma and Tagore both meet each other! Finally, that day has arrived, Mahatma went to meet Ravindranath Tagore. All the Journalists were eagerly waiting to record what they talk! It seems they both were silent for more than 4 minutes, finally Mahatma broke the silence by asking the question "what is the name of this plant? It has very nice flowers!" For that Tagore replied "I dont know the name but I too like the flowers"... Again they were silent for some more time.... And the meeting has ended! The Journilists were very much disappointed it seems :-) At the highest point of existance --- where your Mind is no more disturbed; where your Intellect no more gets disturbed by its wrong judgements; where you no more recognize the conflict of existance; where you are what you really should be ---- there one find neither questions nor answers.... Guest guest
Namaste, The Shankaracharya of Puri visited Bhagavan twice, once to clear a doubt and the second time to supervise the procedings of the Kumbhabhishekam of the temple of Bhagavan's mother. Sri Narayana Guru visited Bhagavan with his disciples. Though he did not talk to Bhagavan as other humans do, he had a very high regard for Bhagavan and refered to Him as Raja Sarpam (King Cobra) (See Reminiscences by Kunju Swami). I am sure if Bhagavan had spoken His words or His silence 3000 years back, they would have been the part of an Upanishad which we would daily adore. Many devotees of Bhagavan say their three scriptural authorities (like the Prasthanathraya) are the Ramana Gita, Sad Darshanam and Upadesa Saaram.
